WINSLOW TIGERS

The Winslow Tigers were formed in the late Spring of 2006 in Winslow
Township, New Jersey, as a U9 (under 9 years of age) female traveling
soccer team.  Going into the Fall of 2006, the Tigers were entered into the prestigious
South Jersey Girls Soccer League (SJGSL) within the U9 age group (8v8
competition).  This age group consisted of 13 conferences and 74 teams
from every county in Southern New Jersey.  Upon initial entry into the
SJGSL, the Tigers were placed within the second highest U9 conference
known as the National Conference.  Subsequent to the Fall 2006 season in
the U9 National Conference, the Tigers became U9 National Conference
Champions as a result of their hard work and dedication.

The rapid success of the Tigers immediately propelled them in the Spring of 2007 into the highest and most competitive U9 conference known as the Olympic Conference.
Subsequent to the Spring 2007 season in the U9 Olympic Conference, the
Tigers became U9 Olympic Conference Champions as a result of their
tremendous commitment to train to be the best female soccer team in their age
group in Southern New Jersey.  Going into the Fall 2007 season, the
Tigers were ranked as the #1 U10 female travel soccer team in Southern
New Jersey by the SJGSL out of 79 teams segmented into 14 conferences.
At the conclusion of the Fall 2007 season, the Tigers finished in first place 
as the U10 Olympic Conference Champions.  Going into the Spring 2008 season, the Tigers were once again ranked as the #1 U10 female travel soccer team in Southern New Jersey by the SJGSL.  Subsequent to the conclusion of the Spring 2008 season, the Tigers once again finished in first place as the U10 Olympic Conference Champions. 

Going into the Fall 2008 season, the Tigers were ranked as the #1 U11 female travel soccer team in Southern New Jersey by the SJGSL out of 81 teams segmented into 15 conferences.  At the conclusion of the Fall 2008 season, the Tigers finished in first place as the U11 Olympic Conference Champions.  This hard earned success allowed for the U11 Tigers to advance to a more demanding level of competitive play in a higher age group within the U12 National Conference of the SJGSL for the Spring 2009 season.  Going into the Spring 2009 season, the Tigers were ranked as the #12 U12 female travel soccer team in Southern New Jersey by the SJGSL out of 75 teams segmented into 14 conferences.  At the conclusion of the Spring 2009 season, despite suffering some major injuries to several players, the Tigers finished in first place and became the U12 National Conference Champions in the SJGSL.  The Winslow Tigers are also an approved US Club Soccer member team.  As a result, the Winslow Tigers simultaneously participate in the Central Jersey Youth Soccer Association (CJYSA) Mid-Atlantic Soccer Showcase League (MSSL) Mid-Atlantic Premier Soccer (MAPS) Division wherein the best teams from New Jersey and surrounding states engage in developmental matches.

The Winslow Tigers have also been recognized by several national soccer
ranking services as a nationally ranked U12 female travel soccer team in the USA.  Several of these national ranking entitiies include National Soccer Ranking.Com ( www.nationalsoccerranking.com )  and Soccer In College ( www.SoccerInCollege.com/rank.aspx ).  During their short time together as a team, the Winslow Tigers have performed exceptionally well in the following youth soccer tournaments:

The Winslow Tigers also participate in regional and national
tournaments in the 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5 formats.  In fact, in the 3v3 format, the
players on the Winslow Tigers are nationally ranked by Kick-It Team
Championship International as some of the best female youth soccer
players in the United States of America.  The Winslow Tigers also play in the prestigious Futsal Baker League in Princeton, NJ.  To enhance player development, the Winslow Tigers entered the NJ Futsal State Tournament at Rider University in January 2008.  As a result, the Winslow Tigers became the 2008 NJ Futsal U10 Girls State Champions.  This success qualified and allowed for the Winslow Tigers to enter into the US Futsal Federation Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in February 2008 in Mansfield, Ma.  As a result, the Winslow Tigers became the 2008 United States Futsal Federation U10 Girls Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions.  This success qualified and allowed the Winslow Tigers to enter into the US Futsal Federation National Championships in July 2008 in Baltimore, Md.  As a result, the Winslow Tigers became finalists against national competition and earned Silver Medals.  Also in the Fall of 2008, the Winslow Tigers entered the New Jersey State Youth Soccer Association National Championship Series U11 Girls State Tournament.  As a result, the Winslow Tigers became the NJYS U11 Girls State Champions. 

The Winslow Tigers also entered the 2009 NJ Futsal State Tournament at Rutgers University in January 2009.  As a result, the Winslow Tigers became the 2009 NJ Futsal U10 and U11 Girls State Champions.  This success qualified and allowed for the Winslow Tigers to enter into the US Futsal Federation Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in February 2009 at CCNY in Manhattan, NY.  As a result, the Winslow Tigers became the 2009 United States Futsal Federation U10 Girls Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions.  This success has qualified and allowed for the Winslow Tigers to enter into the US Futsal Federation National Championships in July 2009 in Baltimore, Md.  As a result, the Winslow Tigers became the United States Futsal Federation U10 Girls National Champions.  In addition, the Winslow Tigers also participate in local indoor male and female soccer leagues to maintain fitness and skill levels.  Moreover, the Winslow Tigers annually participate in a national soccer tournament at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Florida for player development purposes.
